No dia 25 de Dezembro de 2004, os Budda Power Blues fazem o seu primeiro concerto, assinalando essa data como aniversário da banda. O espectáculo foi no Whiskey Bar, numa pequena aldeia perto de Braga, chamada Prado.
Portanto, 2024 marca os 20 anos da banda e este álbum foi feito para celebrar esta aventura e desejar mais 20 anos a explorar novos rumos do Blues.
Fundada por Budda Guedes (guitarra e voz), Nico Guedes (bateria e coros) e Tó Barbot (baixo e coros), a banda contou com mais dois baixistas neste período. Pedro Ferreira por um curto período (2016 a 2017). Em meados de 2017 Carl Minnemann juntou-se à banda e desde ocupa o lugar no baixo e coros.
Vários músicos se juntaram a Budda Power Blues durante estes anos, substituindo pontualmente membros da banda, e gostaríamos aqui de lhes agradecer do fundo do coração. São eles: Pedro Martins (bateria), Rui Rodrigues (bateria), Hugo Danin (bateria), Ruca Lacerda (bateria), Mário Costa (bateria), Leandro Leonet (bateria), Alex Frazão (bateria), Zé Barros (baixo), Firmino Neiva (baixo), Pedro Guedes de Carvalho (baixo), Michael Frost (baixo), Luís Trindade (Baixo).
In December 25th 2004, Budda Power Blues played their first show ever, marking the anniversary on that very special day. The show was on Whiskey Bar, on a small village close to Braga, called Prado.
Therefore, 2024 marks the 20th anniversary, of the band and this album was made to celebrate this adventure and to wish for 20 more years of exploring new routes of the Blues.
Initially starting with Budda Guedes (guitars and Vocals), Nico Guedes (drums and back vocals) and Tó Barbot (Bass and back vocals), the band had two more bass players in this period. Pedro Ferreira for a short period (2016 to 2017). In the mid of 2017 Carl Minnemann join the band and is the bass player and background singer since.
Many other musicians joined forces with Budda Power blues along this years, and we would like to thank them all.
